This slide presentation outlines a study to quantify actual and theoretical energy
consumption (EC) of selected advanced
treatment technologies (ATT's) for water and
wastewater, evaluate factors affecting EC, and
identify energy optimization opportunities. The presentation begins with project background, lists participating utilities and their technologies, lists the four steps for developing an energy analysis framework, gives examples of EC analysis, and presents preliminary findings and discusses issues. Includes figures.
