This standard covers the minimum requirements for glass-fiber-reinforced plastic weir plates, scum baffles, mounting brackets, lap plates, cover washers, and weir pans, fabricated with the matched-die molding process. Included are requirements for design, construction, dimensions, tolerances, physical properties, workmanship, appearance, and installation. This standard contains the requirements for using the general purpose and chemical resistance resins. These fabrications are used in municipal water supply service and industrial water supply service applications. The major revisions in this edition of ANSI/AWWA F102-96 include the following: the format has been changed to AWWA standard style; the acceptance clause (Sec. I.C) has been revised to approved wording; and, definitions for cosmetic defect have been added (Sec. 3).
