Recent Federal court rulings rejecting efforts by the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to force the Massachusetts water resources authority (MWRA) to filter its surface water supply have left many in the water supply community wondering what this unexpected turn of events may mean, if anything, for future enforcement of Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) regulations.
