This paper provides
a brief overview of the Western Corridor Recycled Water (WCRW) Project and the technology used in each of the advanced
water treatment plants;
a review of operational regulatory requirements, specifically related to the production of
purified recycled water suitable for supplementing a water supply reservoir;
the methodology and results of validation testing of each of the process treatment
barriers;
the approach used in assessing the water quality hazards in the source water to the
scheme (secondary treated wastewater); and,
an overview of the testing program for purified recycled water. Includes 8 references, tables, figure.
