This slide presentation outlines a Peer Review Process at the City of Olympia, Washington. The presentation begins by giving background information on the existing asset management program at the utility, and the areas where the program needed improvement. The new Peer Review program is outlined and includes the following focus areas: Vision and Support; Organization; Asset Knowledge; Asset Planning; Asset Development; Operations and Maintenance; Condition Monitoring; Rehabilitation and Replacement; Finance/Financial Reporting; and, Information Systems. The three steps of the Peer Review process are outlined. Step 1, the Desk Top Audit, includes: strategy; assets; people; and, processes. Step 2, On-Site Visit/Interviews, includes: kick-off workshop; one-on-one meetings; and, end-of-week workshop. Step 3 involves Implementation of the Process.
