This slide presentation presents information that answers several questions about San Francisco's recycled water program that include: why is San Francisco looking into developing and implementing a recycled water program; what elements are already in place; what are the major anticipated challenges; and, what are the strategies that are being implemented to address the anticipated challenges. Five strategies are outlined in the presentation that are being used to address anticipated challenges that include: gain stakeholder support; maximize potential demands; utilize existing infrastructure; evaluate satellite treatment; and, develop public participation program.
