This slide presentation offers information on the national source water protection program and on source water assessments for community water systems (CWS) that includes: percentage of CWSs with assessments complete; percentage of completions broken down by state groupings; population served by CWSs with completed assessments; four basic elements of assessments; source water coordination of regulations, special programs, and data and information technology; and, future direction of US Environmental Protection Agency emphasis on source water protection.
