The steps taken to comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (USEPA's) new arsenic standard (10 µg/L MCL) are listed, along with improvements to Walnut Grove's 300gpm direct filtration plant and to Isleton's 500 gpm direct filtration plant. Project results are provided, along with a comparison of pilot testing and full scale operating conditions at Isleton, a strategy to address performance challenges of the pilot study, arsenic removal optimization strategies for walnut grove and for Isleton.
