This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting a joint tabletop exercise between Langley Air Force Base and Newport News Waterworks for handling an intentional contamination attack using a pesticide. Information on developing a custom scenario is presented, along with performing the exercise, hotwash, exercise follow-up, and participant feedback. Conclusions included:
Identify a Champion;
Avoid scheduling conflicts;
Allow adequate time for preparation;
Customize your scenario with help from SMEs and trusted agents;
Craft injects to engage all participants;
Be prepared to develop spontaneous inserts;
Conduct a hotwash; and,
Follow up to correct issues identified during the exercise.
