This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Water Security Initiative and Contamination Warning Systems (CWS). An overview of the Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) Full Scale Exercise is presented and includes: a scenario-driven, real-time simulation that implemented GCWW and local response partner agency protocols for detecting and responding to a drinking water contamination incident; over 50 people from ten different agencies participated in this large scale exercise. The purpose of the exercise was to allow GCWW and response partner agencies to test their protocols for detecting and responding to a possible drinking water contamination incident. Full scale exercise outcomes are presented for component operations, field operations, ICS functions, and crisis communications.
