This revised standard also features new best practice guidance to address ambiguities in the 2010 Office Standard, and it is fully compatible with the
International Property Measurement Standard for Office Buildings.
The 2017 Office Standard includes important updates to reflect changes in the industry, including the inclusion of outdoor balconies, covered galleries and certain finished rooftop terraces in the rentable square footage calculation.
