The 300+ papers represent a cross-section of key themes related to sustainable construction in numerous fields of application, from major civil engineering to industrial and domestic construction, and provide a comprehensive overview of current innovation and development. The Congress consisted of six conferences organised by the Concrete Technology Unit of the University of Dundee. It is the seventh in the series of international events held at Dundee since 1990, and was organised in collaboration with the Institution of Civil Engineers, the American Concrete Institute and the Japan Society of Civil Engineers.
