The sole purpose of this revision is to incorporate the test methods contained in BS EN 15889:2011, Fire-fighting hoses - Test methods, by utilising reference to a single normative reference rather than by reference to specific test method Annexes. The test methods now contained in BS EN 15889 are identical to those previously contained in the normative annexes of the 2004 edition of BS EN 14540.
