Applies to animal glue in granular or powder form, suitable for use in sizing walls, ceilings and similar surfaces. Type A contains aluminium sulphate, Type B does not. Requirements are specified for residue on sieve, jelly strength and viscosity, chlorides, aluminium sulphate (Type A only), odour, keeping properties, storage properties, instructions for use, marking and sampling. Test methods not covered by BS 647 are described in appendices.
