This document has been developed for use by technical experts when procuring stainless steels. The list identifies the chemical composition of different steel designations within eight classes of steel, e.g. the X12Cr13 designation within the class of martensitic and precipitation hardening corrosion resisting steels. This standard supersedes EN 10088-1:1995.
