Offshore containers and associated lifting sets — Part 1: Design, manufacture and marking of offshore containers, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 10855-1 (first edition, 2018-05).
Standards development within the Canadian Offshore Structures sector is harmonized with international standards development.
This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group.
Scope:
This document specifies requirements for the design, manufacture and marking of offshore containers with a maximum gross mass not exceeding 25 000 kg, intended for repeated use to, from and between offshore installations and ships.
This document specifies only transport-related requirements.
