1. SCOPE
1.1 This standard applies to denatured fuel ethanol, a blendstock that is used solely as a component of automotive spark ignition fuels.
1.1.1 These automotive spark ignition fuels include: CAN/CGSB-3.511 - Oxygenated Automotive Gasoline Containing Ethanol (E1- E10), and CAN/CGSB-3.512- Automotive Ethanol Fuel (E50 - E85).
1.2 The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
