1 Scope and object
This clause of part 1 is applicable except as follows:
1.1 Scope Replacement:
This International Standard applies to WASHER DISINFECTORS and other equipment incorporating washing and disinfection processes for the treatment of soiled items used in the medical, veterinary, pharmaceutical, and laboratory fields.
NOTE This equipment may have one or more CHAMBERS and a loading and unloading system.
