1. Scope

1.1

This Standard applies where hand controls are colour-coded. It is intended that manufacturers have the option of whether or not to colour code hand controls.

1.2

This Standard concerns colour-coding hand controls on agricultural equipment as defined in ASAE Standard S390.1.

1.3

This Standard is technically equivalent to ASAE Engineering Practice EP443.1 AUG93 and any controls meeting the requirements of this engineering practice meet the requirements of this Standard.
