La presente Norma sperimentale nazionale si applica alle prese interbloccate con interruttore automatico magnetotermico per installazione fissa per uso domestico e similare (PIA).
Essa è derivata dalla Norma EN 60898-1 (2003), con le varianti ed aggiunte necessarie per tener conto della tipologia specifica del prodotto oggetto della presente Norma. Questa seconda edizione aggiorna i riferimenti normativi e modifica e aggiunge alcune prescrizioni e condizioni di prova.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma 23-97:2007-10, che rimane applicabile fino al 31-03-2011.
