La presente Norma Europea definisce le prescrizioni mandatorie ed opzionali relative alla comunicazione basata su protocollo IP per prodotti e sistemi HBES.
Il TC 205 CENELEC, Home and Building Electronic Systems (HBES), in collaborazione con il TC CEN 247, Building Automation, Controls and Building Management,
e con la partecipazione del suo partner KNX
ha preparato il presente documento in modo da far riferimento alla Norma Europea EN 13321-2, preparata dal TC 247 CEN, anche come Norma del TC 205 CENELEC ed estendere il campo di applicazione ai Sistemi Elettronici per la casa e l'edificio (HBES).
Tale documento è stato approvato dal CENELEC come EN 50090-4-3.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
