La presente Norma di prodotto definisce, con riferimento all'esposizione dei lavoratori ai campi elettromagnetici ad alta frequenza, i criteri di conformità ai limiti di base delle stazioni radio base e delle stazioni terminali fisse per sistemi di telecomunicazione senza fili operanti nella gamma di frequenze tra 110 MHz e 40 GHz.
I criteri di valutazione della conformità di tali apparecchiature sono definiti sia con riferimento diretto ai limiti di base sia indirettamente attraverso la conformità con i livelli di riferimento. Per le modalità di misura e di valutazione si fa riferimento alla CEI EN 50383.
