The text of document 84(CO)163, future amendment 2 to IEC 268-12:1987, prepared by IEC TC 84, Equipment and systems in the field of audio, video and audiovisual engineering, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as amendment A2 to EN 60268-12:1995 on 1994-12-06.
The following dates were fixed:
- latest date by which the amendment has to be implemented at national level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement (dop) 1995-12-01
- latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the amendment have to be withdrawn (dow) 1995-12-01
