La presente Norma specifica limiti di emissione per le variazioni di tensione, le fluttuazioni di tensioni e il flicker per le apparecchiature collegate alle reti elettriche pubbliche a bassa tensione.
Essa si applica principalmente alle apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche con correnti nominali di ingresso da 16 A a 75 A soggette ad allacciamento su condizione. Essa è però anche applicabile alle apparecchiature con correnti nominali ≤ 16 A , oggetto della CEI EN 61000-3-3, qualora esse non siano conformi ai limiti prescritti da tale norma: anche per queste apparecchiature è previsto però l’allacciamento su condizione.
