I valori numerici rappresentano i valori medi di massima emissione per un modo operativo o discreto o combinato dato e sono derivati da misure effettuate in acqua.

Rispetto all’edizione precedente è stata introdotta una nuova condizione di conformità e si è provveduto a revisionare la Norma ed i riferimenti normativi.
Il Corrigendum IEC di agosto 2008 è stato accorpato nella ristampa della pubblicazione IEC.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
