La presente Norma è applicabile all’assieme di connessione tra i cavi con isolamento in olio fluido ed estruso e le apparecchiature in involucro metallico isolate in gas (GIS), in esecuzione monofase o trifase. I terminali di cavo sono a secco o riempiti con fluido e una barriera isolante di separazione è interposta tra l’isolante del cavo e l’isolamento in gas dell’apparecchiatura di manovra.
Scopo della presente Norma è stabilire un’intercambiabilità elettrica e meccanica tra i terminali di cavo e le apparecchiature in involucro metallico isolate in gas e determinare i limiti di fornitura.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 62271-209; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 9208E di febbraio 2008, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata.
