This publication is intended for use by compressed gas industry companies in the United States. It principally addresses the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) federal regulatory requirements. Although individual U.S. states establish their own environmental regulations that can be more stringent, they generally follow the same approach as the federal requirements.

This publication provides a series of appendices to facilitate environmental regulatory compliance within the compressed gas industry.
