CGA P-65 PDF

This publication provides CGA phrases that will help to convey additional safety information specific to the gas industry when preparing safety data sheets (SDSs). The phrase location and applicability is ultimately determined by the expert judgment of the individual creating the SDS.

When preparing SDSs, refer to CGA C-7, Guide to Classification and Labeling of Compressed Gases, for product classification, precautionary phrases, and hazard phrases that may appear in Section 1, Identification, and Section 2, Hazard(s) identification, of the SDS. See the Emergency Response Guidebook for the applicable code that may be included in Section 14, Transport information, and CGA P-19, CGA Recommended Hazard Ratings for Compressed Gases, for guidance on the appropriate NFPA 704 ratings that may be included in Section 16, Other information.
