The publication covers both modern and older plants and processes, covering cryogenic ASUs that produce products as gas, liquid, or both. It also provides many safety considerations in the design, construction, location, and installation of these plants. Emphasis is placed on equipment, operational and maintenance features that are unique to cryogenic air separation processes. Extensive references are given for further information.
