This publication provides detailed dimensional drawings of six outlet connections for high pressure gas tube trailers and lists the common industrial gases that have been assigned to each connection, currently numbering sixteen. These connections provide basic separation of incompatible gases and applications consistent with the safety philosophy of the cylinder connections of CGA V-1.
In the 2009 edition, pressure ratings on assigned connections were changed to accommodate tube trailers capable of up to 3500 psi service pressures, some dimensional changes were made to provide more strength and resistance to deformation, and recommended torque sealing values were major changes or additions.
