CGA V-24 provides guidelines for the safe use of sealing gaskets in high pressure medical oxygen cylinders with post valves at patient and end user locations. This publication does not apply to cylinder fill plants, valves not designed to accept a sealing washer such as the CGA 540 threaded connection, valve integrated pressure regulators (VIPRs), or portable cryogenic liquid cylinder outlets.
