This provisional standard applies to reflective and retroreflective interior and exterior signs. Internally illuminated, fluorescent, phosphorescent, neon and overhead highway signs are excluded.
It covers the appearance and durability of signage materials, including support materials. Footings and foundations, which may be part of some free standing exterior signs, are not covered.
