This standard describes the recommended procedures to be employed in applying 37-GP-54M flexible polyvinyl chloride membrane for roofing on new constructiion and for reroofing.
Three methods of membrane installation are covered by this standard, namely, loos laid, fully adhered and mechanically fixed.
Wind uplift requirements must be established in the job specification according to design condtions.
The preparation of old roofs prior to reroofing is not covered by this standard.
