Volume I presents the nine instantaneous controls implementation strategies that make up the Instantaneous Controls Maturity Matrix, in three categories: organizational behavior, project controls, and advanced information technologies. Introduces and provides guidance on using the three maturity matrix-based tools: 1) the Instantaneous Quotient (IQ) tool; 2) the Quick Assessment (QA) tool; and 3) the Workflow Implementation Process tool. Also addresses implementation considerations and offers narratives of three industry implementations of instantaneous controls.
Volume II presents the results of 10 case studies conducted by RT-316 of organizations implementing instantaneous controls, with samples from the construction, technology, manufacturing, and aerospace sectors. Addresses the resources required both for comprehensive controls efforts and for real-time reporting functions with very specific (narrower) scopes.
