The first edition of this book was received exceptionally we ll by bo th prac ticing gynecologists and by residents in training. In the first edition , we pre sented material by eminent laparoscopists in an easy to read format accompanied by digital drawings in order to supply the optimal information to the reader regarding the various procedures.

We have again tried to maintain that forma t but with the enhancement of colored digital illustrations. We have also added several chapters on newer techniqu es especially in Urogynecology.

We believe that the information contained in this volume will enhance the skills of the practicing gynecologic surgeo n while develop ing the base for the novice laparoscopists and for all individu als who believe in the conce pts of minimally invasive gynecology.
