Preface

Running a successful MRCOG Part 2 revision course has been one of the most satisfying adventures I have ever embarked upon. I have, through the years, provided tuition and support for many new members and fellows of the RCOG who are currently practising in different parts of the world. These courses have been both challenging and educational, as I continue to evolve them. This book is a culmination of this educational process. It is based on where I see deficiencies in candidates and on my own personal experiences regarding the standards of the MRCOG Part 2 examination.

I hope that the contents of this book will spur candidates to work harder and achieve success in their examinations.

I would like to thank my family, Monique, Justin Jr and Swiri, and especially my wife, Joan Kila, for putting up with me while I spend endless hours away from the children running the courses and, more particularly, while I was writing this book.
