Preface

This publication is the first definitive textbook on psychodermatology and is an international, comprehensive, and practical book aimed at dermatologists, psychiatrists, and any other healthcare professionals with an interest in psychodermatology.

The aim of the book is to summarize the latest international scientific research in psychodermatology as well as the clinical aspects of psychodermatology with a psychopharmacology/theraupeutic direction. The editors are hopeful that the comprehensive yet practical and problem-focused approach to psychodermatology make this a reference that physicians can turn to again and again for guidance in taking care of patients with psychological aspects to their skin disease.
