Scope This document provides revisions to the Z21.54-1996/CGA 8.4-M96 standard.
These requirements apply to gas hose connectors which are conduits for conveying gas and depend for gas-tightness on the wall structure of the hose material.
Connectors covered by this standard are intended for connection of portable outdoor gas-fired appliances to the gas supply piping.
They are for use in unconcealed outdoor locations.
For use only in locations where they will not be likely to be subject to excessive temperatures above 200F (93.5?C).
For use with natural, manufactured, mixed and liquefied petroleum gases and LP gas air mixtures; and for use on gas piping systems having fuel gas pressures not in excess of ? psi (3.45 kPa).
