Preface
The standards set forth herein apply to the fourth edition of the Standard for Gas Clothes Dryers, Volume I, Type I Clothes Dryers, ANSI Z21.5.1-2006 * CSA 7.1-2006, and supersede
corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising Technical Advisory Group, they were accepted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
and subsequently approved.
NOTE: Changes, other than editorial, are denoted by a vertical line in the margin.

Details test and examination criteria for Type 1 clothes dryers for use with natural, manufactured or mixed gases, liquefied petroleum gases or LP gas-air mixtures.
