Scope
1.1 This Standard applies to plumbing supply fittings of NPS-1 nominal size and smaller, plumbing waste fittings of NPS-2 nominal size and smaller, and master thermostatic water-mixing valves of nominal size NPS-4 and smaller.
These devices include, but are not limited to, the following: (a),,bath and/or shower supply fittings; (b),,bidet supply fittings; (c),,clothes washer supply fittings; (d),,drinking fountain supply fittings; (e),,laundry tub supply fittings; (f),,lavatory supply fittings; (g),,sink supply fittings; (h),,water closet tank supply fittings; (i),,automatic compensating supply valves (domestic); (j),,pressurized flushing devices (eg, flushometer valves, flushometer tanks); (k),,humidifier supply stops; (l),,sediment and lawn faucets; (m),,supply line stops; (n),,trap primers; (o),,thermal expansion relief valves; (p),,bath and shower waste fittings; (q),,continuous waste fittings; (r),,drinking fountain waste fittings; (s),,laundry tub waste fittings; (t),,lavatory waste fittings; (u),,sink waste fittings; (v),,antisiphon fill valves; and (w),,master thermostatic water-mixing valves
