1. Scope
1.1
This Standard specifies the minimum requirements for factory-built, single or multiple-piece roof vent flashings used to effect a permanent weather seal between the flashing and the vent pipe without the use of additional sealing materials around the vent pipe. Flashings fabricated on-site are not included.
1.2
This Standard includes requirements for material, quality of work, and performance requirements for weather resistance.
Methods of marking to indicate compliance with this Standard are also included.
