1. Scope
1.1
This Specification applies to picture machines and photographic equipment such as portable, non-professional safety film motion picture projectors, slide and filmstrip projectors, film-editing machines, film and slide viewers, photographic printers, and photographic enlargers, designed for supply potentials of 250 volts or less between conductors and to be installed and used in accordance with the rules of the Canadian E lectrical Code, Part I.
1.2
This Specification applies to equipment intended for indoor use in ordinary locations, intended for general domestic purp oses, and such commercial use as will not necessarily be under the jurisdiction of a qualified person.
1.3
This Specification does not apply to commercial equipment such as film readers, microfilm cameras, printers and viewers, production line photographic printing equipment, etc.
