Scope

1.1 This Standard provides the minimum criteria for scaling roundwood in metric units and minimum specifications for scaling in struments.

Procedures for measuring or estimating quantities of woodchips or other primary forest products are not included.

1.2 This Standard is intended for the use of individuals or agencies charged with the responsibility of scaling primary forest products in Canada.
