This is the first edition of CSA SPE-2.2.1, Best practices for CNG vehicle system leak inspection .
Scope:
1.1 General
This Document contains
a) a brief description of CNG characteristics;
b) leak detection methods;
c) recommendations for in-service vehicle leak detection and inspection procedures for compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel storage and delivery systems; and
d) general repair practices.
1.2 Terminology
In this Document, "should" is used to express a recommendation or that which is advised but not required and "may" is used to express an option or that which is permissible within the limits of the Document.
1.3 Units of measure
The values given in SI units are the units of record for the purposes of this Document. The values given in parentheses are for information and comparison only.
