The purpose of the Commentary is to provide background information concerning certain clauses and requirement in the Standard, to provide information that may be of assistance to the reader in the understanding and implementation of such requirements, and to refer to research materials that were used during the formulation of some of the requirements in the Standard. The clause headings and numbers used in this Commentary correspond to those in the Standard; however, is should be noted that comments have not been provided for all the clauses of the Standard.
