The test programme, described in the appendix, section 7.3, included a double determination of carbonation depth on: - Concretes made by each partner with the same cement samples and the same water/cement ratios, but locally available aggregates: test No 1, - Concrete manufactured by a single laboratory and sent to all partners: test No 2, - Reai scale colour photographs of concretes that had been sprayed with an indicator, so as to immediately evidence the carbonated layer: test No 3.
