The standard will define the conformity evaluation tests suite for equipment to the EFC standard on ""Application interface definition for autonomous systems – Charging"" (i.e. CEN ISO/TS 17575 – Part 2). It will cover tests for the Back End equipment and for the Front End (as either a proxy or a smart client OBE) equipment. A conformance-testing standard will provide comparability of results from tests performed at different places and times and facilitate communications between parties. The standard will be divided in two parts. The scope of the second part, this part, will contain the Abstract test suite (ATS). The ATS will be based on the Tree and Tabular Combined Notation test script language that is suitable for implementation in computer-aided test tools.
