This document gives general requirements for sampling techniques outside the laboratory to obtain samples for subsequent bacteriological analysis and to transport them to the laboratory. This document concerns all food and feed products, including blocks of frozen products, carcasses or meat (but excluding surface sampling of carcasses) and bulk products.
