This European Standard specifies a laboratory procedure for determining the transfer efficiency of atomising and spraying equipment for the application of liquid coating materials onto flat panels. A second part (to be prepared) will cover coating materials application to other substrate geometries and provide a method for the determination of transfer efficiency for atomising and spraying equipment with electrostatic support.
