1.1 Scope This section of Part 2 of I E C Publication 598 specifies requirements for fixed general purpose luminaires for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 1 000 V. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of Part 1 to which reference is made. 1.2 General test requirements The provisions of Section Zero of Publication 598-1 apply.
